Lawndale Summer Medical Project
The Lawndale Summer Medical Project, or LSMP, is a four-week service project that seeks to provide pre-med and first year health professions students with a vocationally relevant and spiritually challenging inner-city experience, working in medically underserved urban areas of Chicago.
Lawndale Christian Health Center and Intervarsity Christian Fellowship currently sponsor the LSMP.
The LSMP was developed in 2002 and 2003 in cooperation with the Christian Medical & Dental Association and Christian Community Health Fellowship.
