Karen Poulsen - Human Resources Supervisor

Karen Poulsen began her Human Resources career at LCHC in 2000, after holding a variety of administrative and executive assistant roles in the legal, business and insurance communities.

In July 2005, Karen assumed her current role as Human Resources Supervisor. Her department serves the LCHC staff in the areas of recruitment, orientation, credentialing and verification, company benefits, and more. HR also oversees compliance by each staff member for various standards, codes and laws.

Karen is a member of Lawndale Community Church where she serves as a Stephen Minister. She resides in Chicago and has raised two daughters, two nieces and two nephews. She is a grandmother to one grandson. Karen is pursuing a degree in the Human Resources field.
