HIV/AIDS Services
LCHC offers a range of services to individuals infected, at-risk, and affected by the HIV epidemic, which is especially severe in the communities we serve. Funding for HIV services is provided by the Chicago Department of Public Health, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and the Human Resources Services Administration. All services are available in English and Spanish.

Meet the HIV Care Team.

Primary Medical Care
Medical care is provided by a team of physicians trained in and with experience treating HIV-positive men and women over 18 years of age.

Case Management and Group Support
A team of experienced case managers provides social service assistance including benefits, referrals for housing, and general support. Additionally, support groups for people living with HIV are held twice a month.

HIV Testing and Counseling
LCHC provides confidential HIV testing at all three clinic locations on a walk-in and provider-referred basis. Individuals interested in being tested for HIV can see a test counselor free of charge.

Community Outreach and Education
HIV Outreach Workers represent LCHC at health fairs, schools, churches, and other community events to educate residents regarding HIV. Orasure (oral) HIV testing is also offered at many of these events as well as during street outreach.
