Substance Abuse Services
LCHC seeks to provide substance abuse services to individuals at all stages of addiction and recovery. Whether referred from an LCHC provider or on a walk-in basis, participants have access to both individual and group support, as well as a network of treatment agencies for those in need of and ready for treatment.
Meet the Substance Abuse Care Team.
Substance Abuse Treatment Readiness (SATR)
Individuals currently using substances and not yet ready to enter treatment can benefit from individual and group support through SATR. This program is client-centered and client-directed, never pushing someone into treatment before he or she is ready.
Treatment Placement
LCHC has established relationships with a variety of substance abuse treatment agencies throughout the city ranging from intensive inpatient to methadone maintenance to outpatient. The substance abuse staff can assist individuals in selecting an agency that is best fitted to their needs and facilitating the referral and follow up process.
Sobriety Groups
Two groups are offered (to men and women separately) for those who are currently sober and drug free and seek continued support in remaining clean.
Individual Sessions
The substance abuse counselor is always available to meet with individuals one-on-one to address life issues as needed.
