Behavioral Health
Our Behavioral Health Consultation services provide brief, immediate services to LCHC providers and their patients in areas such as depression, chronic disease, and behavior change assistance in a variety of areas like weight loss, medication compliance, and lifestyle change. Our Behavioral Health Providers (BHP) are trained in a unique model that allows them to collaborate right alongside our Primary Care Providers (PCP) to enhance care with often same-day service. Our BHPs are available to any existing LCHC patients through our main appointment lines (Ogden: 773.843.3001, Homan: 773.843.3002, Farragut: 773.843.3003) or during a PCP visit:
Services
- Behavioral Health Consultations (scheduled separately or immediately during a PCP visit) for mental health problems
- Behavioral Medicine Screenings for behavioral aspects of development and diseases during routine care visits
- Behavioral Testing for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Mental Retardation (Scheduled during an Behavioral Health consultation)
- Workshops for Stress Management (adults) and Behavioral Problems (pediatrics)
Internship Opportunities
LCHC also provides year-long APA accredited internships for doctoral-level psychologist for training in primary care psychology. Interested applicants can apply through the Chicago Area Christian Training Consortium.

Pastoral Care Services
Our pastoral care services provide social and emotional support for LCHC patients who are facing life crises, social isolation, joblessness, family conflict, housing issues and other life challenges. Our Pastoral Care Workers are supervised and trained by our Behavioral Health Consultants to ensure quality, appropriate care. Pastoral Care Workers are available to LCHC patients who simply ask their doctor for pastoral care support.
James 1:27 Fund
Pastoral Care maintains a fund to help patients that are in need for basic provisions, medication, and transportation. LCHC is a 503c non-profit organization. Donations are accepted and tax deductible eligible. |
