Interns
Lawndale Christian Health Center offers internship opportunities to students interested in serving in an urban, multicultural healthcare environment. While we are always accepting internship applications, the availability of internship openings vary. Interns are placed based on availability in the department. We offer opportunities in administration (Human Resources, Finance, Development, etc), in the clinical setting (nursing, medical assisting) and in health support services (social work, fitness, interpreting).
Volunteer Opportunities
Lawndale Christian Health Center is always accepting volunteer applications. If you choose to volunteer at LCHC and are accepted for a position, you will be joining a dynamic group of people. We like to know the volunteer’s area of interest so that we can try to match the volunteer with the right opportunity. Please note that all of the positions require the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with excellent guest relation skills.
Application Process
Submit an application and resume by mail or e-mail. If you choose to e-mail your application, please indicate the position that you are applying for and your name in the subject line (Example: Intern – John Carroll or Volunteer – John Carroll). Additionally, we require two letters of recommendation from people who have known you for at least two years and can attest to your character and work ethic.
