Senior Day Program
Many aging adults face challenges with memory, mobility, and disease management. LCHC's Senior Day Program (SDP) is a certified ADS (Adult Day Services) program through the Illinois Department on Aging. Seniors who qualify for our SDP will enjoy a weekday program that will support them in continuing to live at home, and assist family members who care for an aging family member.
The Senior Day Program offers:
- Daily social and recreational activities
- Nurse-supervised healthcare support
- Dietician-planned meals
- Fitness classes and outings designed for seniors
- Transportation to and from home
The SDP serves medically stable seniors over 60 with personalized care to support independent living. It is offered at low or no cost to qualifying seniors who are U.S. Citizens or legal Illinois residents, and who have demonstrated financial need. A sliding scale fee is available for eligible participants without insurance.
